Ouma se Kombuis has been up and running for 18 years.
Started in 1986, providing the local Worcester public with confectionery
products and in a later stage starting two extra lines, baking
bread and hamburger rolls. In 1999 Johan Meyer took over Ouma
se Kombuis after a successful teaching career at The Pioneer School
for the Blind.
Since his arrival the bakery started specializing in only 4 production
lines.
Since 1999 Johan Meyer has taken the bakery to a higher level.
From modest
beginnings at a tiny premises to a bigger location, with self-designed
equipment, 30+ staff and now producing 36 product lines.
Everyone at Ouma se Kombuis works together as a family and try
to put all
our energy into our products and work. At Ouma se Kombuis we believe
that the freshness and good taste of our products is just like
your "Ouma" would have baked it in her own "Kombuis!"
"Try it out and enjoy... because nothing's as good as a home
bake …….!"
